Today I’ve been writing while listening to the wonderful music of the composer Adrian von Ziegler. His music has the perfect atmosphere for the early scenes in Book Two of the Dark Spirit Trilogy. My favourite so far is Night Mist in the Celtic Collection. Check out his incredible music at: https://youtu.be/80du9gScaqw
I’m 11,000 words into Book Two. It’s turning out to be much easier to write this one now that the characters are fully developed and the stage is set. It’s just a matter of following them as they move forward to fulfil their destinies.

Adrian von Ziegler ❤ I love his music! Brunuhville and Peter Gundry as well 🙂 If you are interested I publish similar fantasy / celtic music myself under Celestial Aeon Project – would love to hear your thoughts! For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PWUe-TcfMs – best wishes from Finland!

I read Dark Spirit all in one go. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. Its descriptions were so alive and intimate: the atmosphere, the characters and the historical context, that I dove right into the story. I thought it was a very successful combination of adventure, history and human relationships rendered in all their complexity, all of it described with precision and sensitivity. I thought it a luminous novel about a time of calamity and war. I would love it if there were a sequel.
